Okay, so I'm a little behind when it comes to technology ... I am a dinasour, after all (no, the spelling is correct) ... Here is how it goes ... I wanted to upload photos from my phone to Blogger, but for some reason, there were issues ... I don't know whether it's the USB cable or what, but Blogger kept saying server failure or something like that ... Alright, so I borrowed this person's laptop ... No need to know who this person is ... Why? Because my days as the owner of a laptop have long past (READ: I can't afford to buy one) ...
After much grumbling and wrestling, I managed to get the laptop ... Now, the person was so disgruntled that they left me before I could learn how to use Bluetooth to transfer and/or receive files ... There I was, thinking "How the f**k do I do this?" ... Luckily, they left the internet connection on ... I know, I'm bad ... So, I googled it and of course there are tutorials on Youtube ... So, it took me a few trys, but finally I managed to upload photos to Blogger with the magic of Bluetooth ... Yeah, 20 years too late to the party (Googled when Bluetooth came out) ... And while I was using that poor sod's laptop, I wrote this entry ... So, I'm a freeloader, what else is new? ...
Anyways, in other developments, I recently went to service my scooter ... Okay, sometime ago, I noticed a hole in the air shroud ... Well, of course I didn't know the f**k what it was called when I first saw the hole ... So, about two months ago, I went to the workshop for a service, and asked whether I could change the part ... The mechanic said that it might take awhile for the part to arrive ... Yeah, like two months long ...
Okay, moving on ... Very recently, went to IKEA to get a bulb for the spotlight in my room ... Well, I hadn't used it for a long time because I actually found it a little too bright, only to realise that I could turn the lights to face the ceiling so that the lighting in the room becomes subdued ... Anyways, I started using the spotlight, and one by one each of the three bulbs went bust ... So, of course I had to go to IKEA ... On this particular trip, I felt like having lunch at the cafeteria ... So, I got the meatballs ...
I have a feeling that it tastes the way it has always been, except that twenty years ago, I really, really enjoyed it ... What changed is not its flavour, but my tastebud ... Of course, they have substituted the boiled potatoes to mashed, and there was no broccoli before (Look for my post on Ramadan a few years back, and you'll find a photo of how this meal originally looked like) ... But, like I have said, my tastebud has changed ... I no longer find this dish delicious ... Don't get me wrong; it is edible ... But, I would prefer if the meatballs had more flavour to them ... That's what it is; it lacks flavour ... So does the mashed potatoes ...
And finally, I'm still here ... Stay tuned for latest developments ...
