What else is new ... Oh yeah I can't access my movie blog ...

A month after my last post, things have been proceeding as usual ... Yes, I'm still at my crummy job at the textile chain store ... Yes, my mother isn't dead ... Yes I'm still thinking I can try to complete my post-graduate studies in Japan ... No, I haven't lost hope, only now I'm stuck in this position and don't know which way forward ...

On a different note, I can't post on Diary of a Movie Addict  ... I tried logging in but after I typed in my username and password, my phone received no notification of the six-digit code  ... After a myriad of attempts at recovering my account on Wordpress, going through endless recovery codes sent to three separate email accounts, safe to say that I can no longer access my Wordpress account and thereby my Diary of a Movie Addict blog ... This is such a tragedy :( ... I love that blog ... I can post anything and everything movies on it ... I spent YEARS perfecting my dry, sarcastic, witty, dripping with irony and self-deprecating humour armchair pundit talk on that blog and now all I can do is read Diary of a Movie Addict in all its glory from afar (technically on a different tab on Chrome) ... *Huge sigh* ... Not only do I have no actual plan on how to move on with my life but now I have lost a VERY IMPORTANT OUTLET OF EXPRESSION ... Oh how I lament thee my dearest blog ... Now, now Blogger, don't get jealous ... I can still access you ...

So somehow I feel like I'm back on square one in this tic-tac-toe game of Life ... And for some reason, I still think I can go back to Japan and finish what I started there simply by learning Japanese all over again at the Japan Foundation for a year or two and writing to the Japanese ambassador to my country (or more realistically his liaison) on the merits of granting again the Monbukagakusho scholarship to this old soul, despite the fact that I have exceeded the age limit for post-graduate students ... If that doesn't work, then at least I've fully learned a new (well, not new technically) language and may even add that to my resume so that I can apply for a job at the Japanese embassy, for example (though realistically it's a stretch ...) ...

Well, that's it for now ... Stay tuned for more garbage posts by Brainjizz, oops, Brainjuice in the not too distant future ...
