You cannot put a price tag on knowledge ... The first line that Allah passes to Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. through his intermediary Jibrail is the first verse of the Surah Al-Alaq, which as per quran.com translates to:
Recite in the name of your Lord who created—
As Muslims, it is requisite for us to seek knowledge and understand it and use it for the benefit of not just Muslims but all mankind ... Thus, that is why the first Surah that one should learn if he/she has received the 'hidayah' from Allah is the Surah Al-Alaq ... 'Recite' – meaning not only to read, but read what you have and pass it on to others ...
I suppose my love for knowledge comes from Allah, like everything else ... But, I have one too many books in my room, and I have decided to pass on the knowledge containing in them to others who are just as curious as I am ...
